Our pace of life seems to get faster each day making it difficult to balance important priorities in our life.
As a Holistic Health & Lifestyle Coach and Personal Fitness Trainer, I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve your health and life goals. I have studied all the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering the approach that works best for you. Amazingly our bodies can heal themselves when given the right tools like proper nutrition, exercise, adequate sleep and reduced stress.
Most approaches to nutrition dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good vs. bad foods, I teach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun & free of denial and discipline. Today, many people are inundated with an excess of nutrition advice and sadly, a lot of it is based on myths, misunderstandings, or agendas that have little to do with health or nutrition. I sort the fact from the fiction, the good information from the bad. I do not endorse a specific diet theory as I believe each person & circumstance is unique. And what may work for you now, may not in the future as our bodies are constantly changing.
Holistic treats the whole person - everything in life we encounter is "food" whether its nutrition through the food we eat or the things in our life that nourish us (career, relationships, activity, spirituality) - it is often these aspects in our lives that create joy, stress, anxiety and other emotions that motivate food choices and unhealthy lifestyle patterns. Each area of our life needs to be balance in order for us to live a full and complete life.
